Cardello app: scan a card and see its value
What Cardello does

From a stack of cards to a valued collection – in minutes

Hold a card up to the camera, see its value, file it away. The fastest way to check your cards' worth and keep your collection under control.

📷

Live scanner

Just hold cards up to the camera – Cardello identifies them automatically by number, name and artwork. 10 cards in under a minute, zero typing.

💶

Real prices in EUR

Cardmarket values (trend, average, lowest) – always labelled with source and date. Europe's actual market, not converted dollar guesswork.

🌍

German & English cards

Cardello reliably recognises both German and English prints – the discipline where most scanners fail. Japanese cards are on the roadmap.

🗂️

Collections & folders

"My collection", "Doubles", "For sale" – organise your cards into collections and coloured folders. Quantity, condition and variant included.

📈

Price history

We record card prices every day. Watch how the value of single cards – and your whole collection – develops over time.

Our heart piece

Watch your collection's value grow

Cardello records your cards' prices every single day. That builds price history charts for every card and your whole portfolio – and soon price alerts. History starts the day a card is first tracked: the earlier you join, the longer your curve.

Fair, not a subscription trap

The core is free. Forever.

Scanning, checking values and backing up your collection cost nothing. And there is no weekly subscription: competitors charge up to $6–9 per week – Cardello Premium is €2.99 a month.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much is my Pokémon card worth? +

Just scan it with Cardello: the app identifies your card automatically and shows the current Cardmarket value in EUR – trend, average and lowest price, always with source and date. No guessing, no fantasy numbers.

Can I scan Pokémon cards with my phone? +

Yes. Hold a card in front of your iPhone camera. Cardello identifies the card and variant automatically, then shows the matching Cardmarket price in EUR. There is no need to type a card name or set number.

Can I scan my Pokémon cards for free? +

Yes. Scanning and checking card values remain free. Every feature is free during the beta. Afterwards, unlimited scans, value checks, two collections, sync, backup and CSV export remain free.

Which cards does Cardello recognise – German and Japanese too? +

Cardello recognises German AND English cards, from current sets to the classics. Reliable recognition of German prints is one of our core strengths; most scanner apps can't do it. Support for Japanese cards is already on the roadmap – request it via the idea form and we'll bump the priority.

How much does Cardello cost? +

The core is free forever: unlimited scanning, value checks, 2 collections, sync, backup and CSV export. Premium (price history, alerts, unlimited collections + folders, portfolio stats) costs €2.99 a month, €29.99 a year or a one-time €69.99 (lifetime). There is no weekly subscription – and there never will be.

What happens if I cancel Premium? +

Nothing is deleted or hidden: all collections and folders stay visible, browsable and exportable as CSV – even beyond two. Sync and backup stay free. New cards then go into two “active” collections of your choice; the rest are read-only until you're back on Premium. And your price history keeps recording in the background – when you return, the curve is complete.

Where do the prices come from? +

From Cardmarket, Europe's largest trading card marketplace – in EUR, updated daily. Every price in the app is labelled with source and date, so you know exactly what you're relying on.

Does the app work offline? +

Yes. Your collection lives locally on your iPhone and is fully usable offline – scanning works on the go too. Sync and backup resume automatically once you're online, and stay free.

When will Cardello launch on the App Store? +

Cardello is currently in beta via TestFlight. Sign up above and you'll be among the first – and during the beta, everything is completely free.

Is Cardello available for Android? +

We're deliberately starting on iOS to build one great app instead of two mediocre ones. An Android version is under consideration – request it via the idea form, that helps us prioritise.
